Food is how we take care of people.

For Jeannette, food has never been just food. Feeding people is her love language.

Before Cater It, Jeannette built a career serving her community in a different way. She worked as a Drug Court Coordinator and as a case manager for children and families, walking alongside people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives. It was meaningful work. It was stable work. And eventually, she knew God was calling her to serve in a new way.

As Jeannette grew bolder in her faith, so did her desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the everyday places where people need to feel cared for.

For her, that often looks like a full table.

It looks like making sure there is enough food for everyone. Taking one thing off the shoulders of a family planning a funeral. Feeding a room full of people celebrating a marriage, a new baby or another year of life. It looks like church gatherings, community events, family reunions and ordinary Tuesdays when somebody simply needs to be fed.

So she stepped away from the security of the career she knew and built Cater It around something she had already been doing all along: loving people through food.

Jeannette is a wife to Michael and mom to three children spanning three very different stages of life, which means she understands both beautiful chaos and the importance of making things easier when people gather.

Cater It isn't about fancy food with fancy names. It's about good food, generous hospitality and taking care of people well.

And that's really the heart behind every pan, every plate and every event Cater It serves.

You book it. She cooks it. And somewhere in between, people get loved on.
